Reverse v1.1 Release Notes
----------------------------

Reverse is (c)2001 by NewCreature Design. Reverse is freeware and thus
may be used and distributed freely. We feel that Reverse has been
adequately tested, however, from past experience we know that there
still may be bugs. Contact us at todd.cope@murraystate.edu if you have
troubles and we'll see about getting it fixed for you.

Description
-----------

Reverse is based entirely on the board game Othello. You have the
option to play against a friend or one of four levels of AI. The in-
game graphics can be customized with themes.

System Requirements
-------------------

A 486 or better processor
VGA or better display

Rules of Play
-------------

When the game begins, you and your opponent own an equal number of
places on the board. Each player, in turn, must place his token on a
square adjacent to his opponent's tokens in order to win those places.
All the opponent's tokens that lie between the token you just placed
and another of your tokens already on the board become yours. The game
will end when there's no more possible moves for either player. The
winner, naturally, is the one who owns the most places on the board
when the game ends.

Troubleshooting
---------------

If the game runs too slow check out the Graphics options menu. Try
turning off vsync and if that doesn't help, turn frameskip to auto.

When running the game in a window, switching to another fullscreen
application can cause the game to freeze.
