Intro
-----
Sometime in the future there were a great crystal shortage. Two pirates, Fire Pirate
and Ice Pirate set out to steal crystals from a distant planet. Now they fight to the
death collecting the valuable crystals.

Installation
------------
Unzip the game, and run cpirates.exe. If you have problems running the game, try changing
the resolution or color depth in the cpirates.cfg file.

Gameplay
--------
This game is a 2 player split-screen action game, where you control either the Fire
Pirate or the Ice Pirate. You gain points by collecting crystals and killing the other
player.

The game ends when one of the pirates collects 25 crystals, or kills the other pirate
5 times. These numbers can be modified in the cpirates.cfg file. Setting a value to -1
means that it won't have any effect on when the game ends.

Default controls
----------------
Fire Pirate (Left player): W, S, A, D and LCtrl
Ice Pirate (Right player): Up, Down, Left, Right and RCtrl

All the controls can be configured in the game. The game also supports joysticks.
Just use the joystick when asked to select a key for a function.

Changing default screen settings
--------------------------------
You can change screen resolution, color depth and fullscreen mode in the config file
cpirates.cfg

fullscreen can be set to 0 for windowed mode or 1 for fullscreen mode.
width and height is the screen resolution the game will use.

Known bugs
----------

* The joystick support is not complete, and there are some bugs.

* Bouncing off the walls, and bouncing into the other ship sometime causes unwanted results.
