Description: Cast upon a single enemy unit, this spell sends a ball of fire hurtling through the air 
towards the enemy upon which the spell was cast causing fire damage. Obsticles do not reduce 
the amount of damage dealt by this spell but they may block the line of sight between two units 
preventing the spell from being cast.~ 

ICE BLAST - level ^~

Range: 8 $$
Description: Cast upon a single enemy unit, this spell blasts ice and water towards the unit 
causing water damage. There is also the possibility of this spell causing slow, reducing the 
afflicted units movement. Obsticles do not reduce the amount of damage dealt by this spell 
but they may block the line of sight between two units preventing the spell from being cast.~ 

SUMMON HAWK - level ^~

Description: This spell summons a hawk to fight as an ally. After the battle is over the hawk 
is destroyed.~

EARTH QUAKE - level ^~

Description: Cast somewhere on the battlefield this spell forces boulders to erupt from the 
crust of the earth causing earth damage to all enemy units within a large area around the point 
from where the spell was cast.~

ENTANGLE - level ^~

Description: Cast upon a single enemy unit, this spell causes the unit to be unable to move although 
the unit will still be able to attack.  It also causes physics damage to the unit at the end of each round.~

HYPNOTISE - level ^~

Description: Cast upon a single enemy unit, this spell allows the caster to take control of 
the enemies mind causing the afflicted creature to attack its allies. Note that the above percentage 
is assuming the enemy is of roughly the same power as the caster.  In reality weaker creatures 
will be easier to hypnotise and stronger creatures more difficult.~

MAGIC SHIELD - level ^~

Description: Cast upon a single allied unit, this spell creates a shield around the unit causing it 
to absorb damage directed at it.  Note that it absorbs a quantity of damage, stopping any damage 
reaching the unit until the shield has been depleted.  The exception to this being the damage caused 
by the status effects:  burns, frozen, crushed, shaken and poisoned which is not absorbed.~

FLARE - level ^~

Range: 12 $$
Description: Cast at a point on the battlefield, this spell causes an intense heat damaging all enemy 
units.  The further from the point each enemy is, the less fire damage it will recieve.~

TORNADO - level ^~

Description: Cast upon a single enemy unit, this spell causes immense winds to surround the unit 
upon which it is cast.  As well as inflicting air damage, this spell may cause the status effect 
shaken.~

DEADLY CLOUD - level ^~

Poison strength: ^ $
Range: 10 $$
Description: Cast upon a single enemy unit, this spell creates a cloud of deadly vapour that inflicts 
both water and air damage as well as poisoning the creature for 3 rounds.  The effectiveness of 
this spell is not reduced by obsticles but they may prevent the spell from being cast if the 
obstruction is severe enough.~

BLINDING FLASH - level ^~

Description: This spell causes an intense flash of light potentially blinding all enemy 
units on the battlefield.  Note that the above percentage is assuming the enemy is of roughly 
the same power as the caster.  In reality weaker creatures will be easier to blind 
and stronger creatures more difficult.~

SUMMON WATER DRAKE - level ^~

Description: Summons a water drake to fight as an ally.  The drake will be destroyed 
at the end of the battle.~

Description: Summons an air elemental to fight as an ally.  The elemental will be destroyed 
at the end of the battle.~

ELEMENTAL ENCHANTMENT -level ^~

Description: Cast upon a sigle allied unit, this spell increases the units elemental damage. 
The percentage increase will be greater for weaker units and smaller for stronger units. 
The above percentage is assuming that the unit upon which the spell is cast has the 
same power as the caster. Note that this spell only affects attacks and not spells.~
