Aura Menus are set up as a tree of submenus. You can choose between two menu styles: "telephone" mode, which acts much like an automated phone menu system, and "console" mode, which acts more like a video game menu system.
Keyboard controls are not configurable, but these functions can be assigned to the joystick.
In telephone mode, you will be presented with a list of choices, each choice followed by a number. Enter that number on the numeric keypad to select it.

In console mode, you navigate up and down a list of choices. Press the enter key to select the current choice. The joystick can only be used in console mode.
