                            Introduction 

  Zed is an adventure scroller. You have to control a Magician
  where you will fight robots and evils creatures. This is an adventure
  RPG.

                            About this relase (v1.22a) 

   This version include only one scene, some text plus an event 
   (some trigered things). Eventualy, this demo do not show what the game 
   will be. 

   Disclaimer things : This version is secure, but probably not stable, 
   so I'm not resposible if something get wrong after the execution of this 
   program. The code could have bugs, so, you take the entire responsability 
   if your system is damaged. I warn you. BTW, it should not contain any 
   viruses.
 
   It's a very early version of the final engine. The engine takes 2 years 
   to build, this engine realy powerfull and well optimized... with 3000 
   sprite on the screen on my p166, the engine work smoothly, without lag, 
   without ASM.

   Due, to time, I didn't have time to include midis in the datafiles, 
   so I disabled the sound engine in this version. The next one will have 
   sounds and music enabled :) it's borring, we have a great soundtrack...

                            Installation 


Unzip evrything in a directory. Then click on zedw.exe. Everything should work.


Minimum requirement :
  - Microsotf Windows 9x, or DOS (Dos not avaible in this alpha version).
  - Pentium class machine (p60 or higher). It sould work on a 486, but I 
    turned on pentium optimisations, the game could hang.
  - VGA card.
  - 2 mb of hard drive
  - 4 mb RAM
  - A mouse
  - Chips and Coke.

                            Controls 


Only the keyboard work now.

Arrows left / right : move Aeron, the hero.
Arrows up   / down  : change shouting angle.
z                   : Make aeron casting a spell
x                   : Make aeron punching (there's no bugs here, I didn't 
                      have the time to change this animation :).
c                   : jump
backspace           : equipement (use enter to use item)
tab                 : Automap... (will not work on this demo, this scene 
                      isn't on the map ;p)
pgup / pgdown       : change spell (this is a very old implementation... 
                      this spells arent definitive).
esc                 : quit (if something don't work, press another time, 
                      there's a little bug here, didn't had time to fix it)
